Great local talent such as Brett Hunt & Mitchell Anderson, Klondike North Forty (featuring Chris Masuak - Radio Birdman) with a mixture of great covers and original songs and a host of various performers its a great night of music. Start the night with Free Pool from 7pm, $6 Jugs of 7pm - 8pm, and Free BBQ... A economical and entertaining start to the week... Wednesdays Downstairs Bar:- "Live & Local - B$3R" This is an evening of the left of centre entertainment. Bands such as The Hoo Haas, The Slowdowns, Tug Dumbly & Bernie Hayes to name a few... These performers provide entertainment beyond the song and often are outrageously funny or just frank... $3 schooners of Sando Lager are served all night from 8pm and "Free Hotdogs" till they run out... Thursdays Downstairs Bar:- The second of our special residencies hosted by Johnathan Devoy (from INK)... Johnathan has been joined on these nights by a number of acts such as LAB64, Ricky Bloomfield, Cecil Hotbake, Ben Connor.... and many more... A great night of Australian Alternative music... Fridays Downstairs Bar:- This is your chance to play DJ... The Video Jukebox is set-up to play throughout the hotel downstairs. Your choice with over 1000 songs listed... From the Old School Rock Masters to the Indie Alternative classics... Your call... Saturdays Downstairs Bar:- TICE & EVANS - The third and longest running residency of the Sando. "TICE & EVANS" Dave Tice formerly the lead singer from Counting Bishops and Buffalo (Australian ICONS of Rock) and Mark Evans (ex bass player from AC/DC) team up for the best Rock Blues duo you will ever see… These guys just rock the house… All the classic blues in one package… 4pm -7pm.... It just doesn't get any better Downstairs Bar:- DJ Kaki plays Classic Roc all night long… featuring Divinyls, Chisel, Australian Crawl, Mondo Rock, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith….etc. you name it he'll play it… Requests welcome all night long…. 9pm - 1am Sundays Downstairs Bar:- The Sando Sunday Session. Originally hosted by the legendary Louis Tillett, this arvot has become an institution for the recovery and layback Sunday music lovers... An allsorts of music blend to make this a great chill and fun arvo.... Upstairs Venue:- "SINDAY @ THESANDO" This is a had rock experience… not for the faint hearted… trash, hard and speed metal rock mixed with solid rock acts creates a great atmosphere for the hardcore rock enthusiast… 7-10pm
